QTBIPOC stands for Queer and Trans, Black, Indigenous People of Color. It is recognized that QTBIPOC embraces some of the most marginalized members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, who find themselves at the intersection of racism, ethnocentrism, xenophobia, queerphobia and transphobia. Consequently, QTBIPOC individuals often face multiple forms of oppression. [1]
See intersectionality for more on facing multiple forms of oppression.
